Celtic have very quietly announced Kieran Tierney’s return to the club. Weeks after Brendan Rodgers said that the Scotland Internationalist would be returning to his boyhood club, supporters were questioning why there had been no official announcement.
That official announcement didn’t come in the form of a press release with KT posing with a scarf but instead it came in Celtic’s interim results.

Tierney made 170 appearances for Celtic between 2015 and 2019. During his time at the club, he scored 8 goals and provided 37 assists across all competitions. The player would represent a huge signing for Celtic given his quality and connection to the club. It remains to be seen if his coming arrival means that Greg Taylor will leave the club.
It is perhaps disappointing that there is a spelling mistake from the club as fans have eagerly been awaiting official confirmation regarding Tierney. However, the club boasted profits of £43.9m before tax – an eyewatering result.
