Celtic are reportedly reluctant to let Luis Palma leave the club this month despite interest. The Scottish Champions have received notes of interest from Genoa and Olympiacos for the fringe winger, who is also attracting MLS interest, but given the injury to James Forrest, Celtic are not keen to let him go.
Speaking on Twitter, Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph has stated that the club are showing a reluctance to move the 24-year-old on this month.
UPDATE: Genoa & Olympiacos have expressed an interest in Celtic winger Luis Palma.
It’s understood Celtic are not keen to let the Honduras international leave at this stage, with James Forrest still out injured for a while.

Celtic are in the market for a winger as they look to offer competition for Nicolas Kühn and Daizen Maeda. There is a significant drop off in quality and consistency when looking to the bench and the manager will be keen to add to this with a player that can play on either side.
In 36 appearances last season, Palma scored 10 and assisted 10 goals in all competitions. However, this season, he has made just 8 appearances with no goal contributions.
We aren’t in a position to even consider letting Palma go, at this stage of the window.
Palma is still required for our 2 CL matches within our squad, especially as replacement for him, won’t be allowed until after those 2 games are completed.
Plus, we also need a replacement into the club, before Palma can even be considered for letting him go.
That might not suit ourselves at present, but not much we can currently do about it either really.
If Tierney deal gets completed as expected now, that will be regarded as 1 of our 3 changes allowed, for the knockout phase of the CL.
But we still have to actually get there first, and only 2 changes will be allowed to our squad, after that hopefully?
I do expect Palma to be moving on during January, but won’t be until the back end of the month at the earliest.
