We’re the finest team in Scotland – Let’s do this today Bhoys

A great boost heading into the New Year

Today won’t shape our season, but winning will be a great boost heading into the New Year, and of course keep us intact for yet another domestic treble.

Some had seen this as a given a few weeks ago, but since the Ibrox club’s supposedly good turn in fortunes it has seemingly become anyone’s game yet again. The reality is that is the case for every final, sometimes the underdog wins.

I myself have never seen it that way, and I’d be saying the same if it where Motherwell we were playing today. It’s a cup final after all, and anything can happen on the day.

The one thing we have going in our favour is our experience of winning, especially at the national stadium. Our record there in the past few seasons has been exceptional, especially against today’s opponents.

Brendan’s brilliant Hampden Record

Brendan Rodgers also has a great personal record at Hampden, and I would be correct in saying that it’s a place he’s never suffered defeat. Let’s hope that record remains intact today. I reckon that the team today will be as most of us expect with Kasper in goals and a back four of Alistair, Cameron, Auston and Greg. Callum, Reo and Paulo will be in the midfield with Nicolas, Kyogo and Daizen up front.

That’s the finest team in Scotland, I hope you will agree…

It will be a tough game today, we shouldn’t expect anything less, but it’s a game we can and should win. Danger man for me is John Beaton and his VAR chums. Same as always I suppose.
