Odin Thiago Holm, remember him? The highly rated Norwegian youngster who was signed from Valerenga in 2023, whom despite a promising start seems to have fallen off the radar at Celtic.
Odin scored against Buckie Thistle
Indeed Odin hasn’t managed a single appearance for the first team since August when he appeared as a substitute in a 3-0 win over St Mirren. He did score for Celtic against Buckie Thistle last January in the Scottish Cup match at Celtic Park.
It’s been reported today that the Norwegian is on the move with MLS side LAFC one of a number of clubs keen on taking him on loan until the end of the season.

It’s a move that’s apparently on the brink of happening and one that you’ve got to say is best for all parties concerned.
Odin is promising talent, but it’s quite obvious that his game time is limited at Celtic and a loan move to a decent level of football will do him the world of good in terms of his overall development.
Norwegian midfielder heading to MLS
He could well flourish in the MLS and come back to Celtic a much better player which will be another great option for Brendan Rodgers come next season.

It’s a move that could work out well for everyone concerned.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
