Celtic received £2.2m more for Mikey Johnston than the Rangers got for these 11 players

Yesterday’s theRangers AGM revealed a few interesting financial details that offer further proof (if you needed any) that Celtic are light years ahead of our so called rivals on and off the park.

theRangers received just £0.81 million

According to the basket case of a new club, they received just £0.81 million for the outgoing transfers of their hitherto top stars Todd Cantwell, Connor Goldson, Scott Wright, Sam Lammers, and Robby McCrorie.

Cantwell, Goldson, Lammers and Wright were seen as regular first team players while Lammers was ripping up Dutch football on a loan spell, and yet they received just under a £1 million quid for their services combined.

It’s even worse when you factor in what it cost to bring them to the club in transfer fees and salaries. It’s cost the Ibrox club a very pretty penny.

Just shy of a whopping £10 million quid

Contrast that to our own club who received just shy of a whopping £10 million quid for the combined outgoings of Mikey Johnston, Oh, Sead Haksabanovic, Tomoki Iwata, and Bosun Lawal. Players who were very much deemed surplus to requirements.

Players who the club also managed to make a profit on. That good business management helps in how we also conduct our transfer incomings, thus making us much stronger on the field.

Those who run our club have their moments, but when it comes to running the business side of things, they are in a different league from our rivals across the city.

This is even more funnier! 😂
