Celtic have been bolstered by the news that Alistair Johnston is available for Sunday’s Premier Sports Cup Final. The Canadian fullback was forced to be substituted during the 0-0 draw away to Dinamo Zagreb after taking a sore one.
Although, speaking to the media conference at Lennoxtown yesterday, Brendan confirmed that Johnston would be available. The Sky Sports cameras picked up that he had missed the morning training session but Rodgers confirmed that he would be fit for the showpiece final.

Celtic will be looking to collect the first piece of silverware on offer by dismissing their city rivals at Hampden. It is a boost for Celtic to have Johnston available given his importance to the first team.
