UEFA have confirmed their refereeing appointments for Celtic’s UEFA Champions League clash with Club Brugge. The Scottish Champions go into Matchday Five of Europe’s elite competition on the back of excellent domestic form as well as impressive displays in all but one of their European outings this season.
UEFA have confirmed that Georgi Kabakov from Bulgaria will take charge of the game with Assistant Referees Martin Martgaritov and Diyan Valkov as well as compatriot Vasil Minev operating as Fourth Official.
Meanwhile, on VAR duties Bulgarian official Dragomir Draganov will be assisted by Christian Dingert of Germany.
Celtic go into the game with seven points on the board and will know that a result against the Belgians will boost their chances of making it into the Play-Off Round. Brendan Rodgers’ side will be looking to follow up their impressive home form, with wins against Slovan Bratislava and RB Leipzig, by putting Brugge to the sword and taking a step towards the next phase of the competition.
