Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers and Callum McGregor faced the media ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League game against Atalanta. The Scottish Champions won their opening game with an impressive display against Slovan Bratislava before a demoralising defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
The Celtic manager and captain were consistent in their message that the performances had to improve in order to get a result against the Europa League holders.
Celtic dropped their first points of the season with a draw against Aberdeen on Saturday, which will have annoyed the manager as Celtic’s slackness allowed the Dons to get back into the game.
