Glasgow’s Comedy Club – Clement goes full Pedro

Philippe Clement going full Pedro was superb comical entertainment yesterday afternoon…

So theRangers dug out a nervy 1-0 victory at home to Hibs as they looked to put some breathing space between them and Motherwell for that coveted third place spot, but for some it was all too much.

Full Basil Fawlty

Philippe Clement afterwards in his media conference seemed to have let his emotions get the better of him as he went full Basil Fawlty in explaining his feelings on the penalty that was awarded to Hibs.

It was a stick on spot kick by the rules of the game, but that didn’t deter  the Belgian John Cleese from going through a range of body motions reenacting the moment as he vented how he didn’t think it was the correct decision.

It was hugely entertaining to be honest, but he’s a football manager and not an entertainment act so I don’t know how theRangers supporters feel about their manager acting like a some sort of circus performer.

Phil’s antics bring back memories of the infamous Pedro Caixinha who famously stood in a bush and had a go at theRangers supporters after a humiliating defeat against minnows FC Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg.

The Comedy Club has a new star turn

The pressure is mounting on Big Phil and it’s showing as he’s gone full Pedro, never go full Pedro. The Comedy Club has a new star turn, maybe he should get a gig at the Edinburgh Fringe. It’s a show that its guaranteed laughs.
