Back to the real action this weekend. Surely Brendan’s got to play the same side that beat theRangers, injuries permitting…
This Saturday sees Celtic return to domestic action after the rigmaroles of international football. The Champions host Hearts at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon and it’s our very first traditional Saturday afternoon 3.pm kick off since the start of the season.
Beware struggling Jambos
The Jambos may be struggling at the bottom of the table, but they will still provide stiff opposition as we know how much they raise their game when faced with those famous green and white hoops as opposed to their Glasgow cousins.
That’s why I’m of the view that it’s important we play the exact same side who comfortably took care of theRangers before the break, very much the same side we’ve played in each of our matches this season.
Four wins out of four, five if you count the league cup win against Hibs. 15 goals scored and only 1 conceded. That’s down to the fantastic efforts of the players who have all been at the top of their game.
Why interrupt that rhythm?
So why interrupt that rhythm? Injuries permitting it should be the same side that takes the field against the Jambos.
Arne Engels, Auston Trusty, Alex Valle, and Luke McCowan are all quality additions, but they should be made to bide their time as the players in front of them have been superb and have more than earned their place.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
PS Here are the to Celtic Fan Media conferences from earlier this week with new signings Luke McCowan and Arne Engels…
