Celtic supporters disappointed as James Tavernier offered route out of Ibrox

The glorious fall-out from losing 3-0 at Celtic Park continues across the city…

The latest being that Captain Disappointed himself could be on the verge of escaping the unfriendly fire that has come his way from theRangers supporters who appear to have reached the breaking point after over a decade of complete Celtic dominance.

Yes it appears that James Tavernier has been offered route out of Ibrox. I think I can safely speak for every single Celtic supporter when I say please don’t go James.

According to reports from a few viable sources this morning Tavernier has been offered an escape route out of theRangers with clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia looking at signing theRangers captain.

With the transfer window still opened in these countries it’s believed that clubs will seek to make a bid for the Ibrox Hall of Famer and end his Ibrox misery.

I plead, please don’t go James!

I think I can speak for all Celtic supporters when I plead, please don’t go James. Regarded as a new-club ‘legend’ Tav has won a grand total of THREE major trophies in his NINE years in Glasgow.

Tav has wowed the Ibrox supporters with his spot kick prowess, but after yet another Glasgoe Derby defeat they have had enough and are turning on their forever ‘disappointed’ skipper, who has been on the losing end of duel after duel with Daizen Maeda.

Fair share of thumping’s dished out by Celtic

Tav has been involved in more than his fair share of thumping’s dished out by Celtic. A few 4-0’s a rake of 3-0’s and of course two 5-1 humblings, and who could forget the 5-0 beating he was part of as we clinched the title at Celtic park back in 2018. Incidentally with around 25 minutes to play at 5-0 why did Celtic take the foot off the gas that day?

Celtic have also won five trebles during Tav’s watch, so I think I can safely say that we will all be saddened to see him go.

Tav did NOT deserve the personal abuse

Whatever his short-comings Tav did NOT deserve the personal abuse suffered at the hands of those idiotic supporters who turned up to abuse the players after their return to Ibrox on Sunday. Maybe that’s the final straw for Tavernier who may decide to play out his remaining time in the game away from idiots like that.

Incidentally watch Super Ally telling it like it is for a change…
