Brendan Rodgers has named his starting eleven for the Scottish Premiership match against Hearts at Celtic Park this afternoon.

Schmeichel is in goals as expected and Alistair Johnston starts, despite the concerns about his hamstring tightness.

The central defence partnership remains the same with Carter-Vickers named alongside Scales with Taylor remains in the team at left back after his outstanding showing in the 3-0 win over theRangers last time out.

In the middle of the park Engels gets his first Celtic start with Paulo Bernardo dropping to the bench while the Celtic captain Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate both retain their places.

The front three are Kuhn, Kyogo and Maeda.

Expect five changes to be Β made during the match, especially after an hour,. and the Celtic bench is very strong indeed with Sinisalo, Trusty, Palma, Idah, Valley McCowan, Bernardo, Forrest and Ralston all looking for minutes.

Kick-off is fast approaching. See you there or on the other side back on Celtic Shorts or over on The Celtic Star.

Come on you Bhoys in Green!

    PREDICTED SCORELINE – Celtic 3 Hearts 0.
