Rumoured Celtic target Owen Beck has joined Blackburn Rovers on a loan deal. The Liverpool left-back had been linked with a move to Celtic Park to compete with Greg Taylor for the starting role under Brendan Rodgers.
However, a loan deal to the EFL Championship has been confirmed that will take Beck to Ewood Park.

Beck impressed while under the management of Tony Docherty at Dundee last season. So much so that his strong performances took him back to Anfield for Jurgen Klopp to review the Welshman himself. The player benefited from an injury crisis along the backline and was a substitute in a win over Bournemouth. This meant he couldn’t make a move to Celtic back in January.
Celtic have held an interest in the player but opted against making a move for the Welsh youngster. The club are expected to complete a loan move for Alex Valle from Barcelona.
