Former Celtic favourite Jota looks set to sign for French side Stade Rennais. The winger left Celtic last summer for Al Ittihad as the Saudi Pro League embarked on a summer mission to recruit high profile targets. The Jeddah club failed to utilise Jota and he found himself out of the squad.
Now, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated that the French side have agreed a loan deal to sign the superstar from Portugal with formal steps to follow.

Good luck to the player and hopefully he gets back playing football.
Celtic have been heavily linked with a move for the player but it was always unlikely given the huge financial package that the player was on in Saudi. Jota made 83 appearances for Celtic as they won five trophies. In those games, he scored 28 goals and assisted on 26 occasions, which resulted in links to a number of clubs.
