Reported Celtic target Dara O’Shea has completed a move to join newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town. Kieran McKenna’s side were thumped by English Champions Manchester City, meaning that defensive reinforcements were high on their list of priorities before the window ended.
Having been signed by Burnley last summer, the Irishman was a spark in an otherwise difficult season for the Turf Moor outfit.
We can confirm that defender Dara O’Shea has joined Premier League side Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.
We would like to thank Dara for his efforts over the past year and wish him the best of luck 🤝

O’Shea had been linked with a move to Celtic as Brendan Rodgers targeted a deal to sign a left-sided
central defender to partner Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Was never in the reckoning once Burnley had placed a fee upon him?
We are still some distance away from thinking we are going to start entering paying out such fees upon player’s, especially with the wage demands that would go along with such a fee?
Don’t regard player’s as targets for ourselves, when realistically they weren’t in our price bracket in the beginning?
