Celtic receive favourable UEFA Champions League draw

Celtic have discovered their UEFA Champions League opponents for the forthcoming campaign. After the draw in Monaco on Thursday, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be quietly confident having received a somewhat favourable draw.

At home, Celtic will face RB Leipzig, Club Brugge, Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava. Away from home, clashes with Dinamo Zagreb, Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa await.

UEFA will confirm the schedule and dates of the fixtures in an update on Saturday but fans know the slated matchdays already. The eight games are spread out across five months, taking the league into the New Year before culminating in what could be a frantic final evening on the 29th of January.
