Celtic receive favourable UEFA Champions League draw

UEFA will confirm the schedule and dates of the fixtures in an update on Saturday but fans know the slated matchdays already. The eight games are spread out across five months, taking the league into the New Year before culminating in what could be a frantic final evening on the 29th of January.

Matchday 3: 22-23 October 2024

  1. Been a fantastic day for our club.
Brilliant draw for ourselves, and even though we shouldn’t really be getting to far ahead of ourselves?
It would be very disappointing not to getting into the knockout rounds imo?
So potentially CL on offer to hopefully the back end of February at least to be looking forward to?
With our squad finally starting to take shape also today, with maybe a few finishing touches to be added still, by the looks of things?
Even so, the overall look of our squad, looks in better shape than what we had in place last season, and certainly playing at a far higher standard also?
Our new additions will also be more match fit also, so hopefully they will settle into the team far easier, especially with a couple of weeks to get up to speed on our style of play, during the international break.
To be in attendance just for the Glasgow Derby, will give our new additions a great feel for the club and the expectations within it also?
Get the victory, that we expect, and it will be a wonderful start to our season, where things can get better, with far more to look forward to than just the usual Hun scum skelping?
