The Adam Idah transfer soap opera of the summer looks to a have finally come to a conclusion. Numerous reports suggest that the Canaries have accepted a deal from Celtic for the Republic of Ireland international.

The fee is reportedly in the £7- £8 million range with some reports suggesting it could reach £9.5 million when add ons are taken into consideration, making Adam potentially our most expensive ever signing, exceeding the £9 million we splashed out for Odsonne Edouard in 2018.
That represents a remarkable turnaround when you consider the flak that the club received when the player joined Celtic on loan back in late January.

Apparently Celtic bid for the left-back in January but any move was frustrated when he played seven minutes in a match against Bournemouth after being recalled at Christmas amid an injury crisis at Liverpool.
Liverpool are looking for a fee of £3m which Celtic apparently have not reached. Here we go again…
