Celtic have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Alex Valle on a season-long loan from FC Barcelona. The highly-rated fullback spent last season on loan with Levante and will now look to offer competition for Greg Taylor in the left back role.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter/X, Valle will travel to Glasgow on Monday to undergo his medical before agreeing a deal to join Celtic.

It appears that there is no buy option in the deal to sign Valle but due to La Liga rules, Celtic will know exactly what the release clause is for Valle.
Celtic have been targeting a left back this summer to compete with Taylor but they will also look to add depth in other key areas to ensure that the club are able to compete on all fronts.
