Patience is a virtue that can wear thin…Brendan Rodgers wants quality additions to his Celtic squad and he wants these signings in this transfer window…

Brendan Rodgers once more reiterated his desire to bring more ‘quality’ to the club this transfer window.

“Do we want to improve? Yes, does the board know that? Yes.”

In his press conference yesterday the Celtic manager was very clear about his intentions for the squad and put his point across calmly and intelligently as always, but there were serious undertones in his words and it was pretty obvious it was yet another reminder directed at those who pull the purse strings at Celtic Park.

Brendan said: “Do we want to improve? Yes, does the board know that? Yes.”

“But with the tools we have at this moment in time, the players are working very, very well and I would expect us to add to that and be stronger by the time the window closes .”

“I’ve known what I’ve always wanted

“I’m quite relaxed. I’ve known what I’ve always wanted, but there’s so many moving parts in transfers.”

Brendan knows fine well we need to improve, the supporters know we need to improve. The board knows we need to improve. The latter is in control of us funding the improvement, and they had better get a move on or they will be left feeling the wrath of both the manager and supporters, who Brendan quite rightly pointed out have put our money where our mouths are in terms of piling it into the Celtic PLC coffers.

The Celtic supporters have done so much to support the club financially

Morning Gossip: Brendan "Our duty is for the supporters, to give them the best team that we possibly can because they deserve that for the support they give the club, the money they spend. So, we as a football club, have to give them the best team that we possibly can." HH pic.twitter.com/P34eIBh0Bp

Make no mistake the success of Celtic is not just down to our Board but also to each and every one of our supporters who back the club in every way possible including financially.

Enough is enough, back Brendan and back him now.

    Just an Ordinary Bhoy

Stop this untruth crap..it’s the same questions every day by reporters and u keyboard warriors.

Anyone can buy or sign Free signings and loans but are they going to improve the team..NO..just look at Sevco raising the white flag until October.

Before a player is SOLD a club has to ensure they have someone to fill the void…the last 2 weeks of a transfer window always brings activity and don’t forget not all players fit the jersey and there is such a thing as due diligence…SO STOP MISREPRESENTING THE TRUTH

So,by your logic we should still have Oh and Haksobanovich at Celtic Park since we haven’t filled the void they have left !

Spend the cash and get starters that make us better. The board need to realise that it’s an investment and we will sell on for a profit under Brendan. If they don’t think this model will work, then why is Brendan there ?
Time for DD to step back in, he was the one who brought Brendan back, spend the cash and back the Manager.

Hopefully we can add a couple of decent quality signings and we will be miles ahead of them.

He said nothing of the sort?
More like the toxic negativity been created surrounding the transfer window?
Far too many lies been promoted at present?
Yet we slag off the Scottish media for doing the same thing regarding the scum?
At present, all these attacks upon the board are more of an attack upon our own players representing the club in our jersey, as far as I’m concerned?
No more than trying to hound players out of the club, because there not to there liking?
Rodgers is responsible for the squad that is formed, and showing nothing but respect for the player’s currently going about there work?
Shame so many within our support can’t do likewise at present, when acting like spoilt brats will do, and putting the blame upon others for there actions?

The transfer window shouldn’t be like this for us but it is, we are only a Decent couple of signings from really leaving them in the dust, just like their stadium their team are falling apart. Hopefully we can kick on. Roll on Sunday.
