Alex Valle is confident that Celtic’s Champions League group offers a genuine opportunity for progression to the knockout stages.
The Scottish champions received a very favourable draw compared to the formidable opponents they could have faced. Celtic will face strong competition from Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Aston Villa, but the draw is far from insurmountable.
For Valle, this presents a promising chance for his new loan club to compete seriously. As reported by Football Scotland, Valle gave his initial reaction to Celtic’s excellent draw shown earlier today, with the 21-year-old saying:
“I’m really happy with the group, it’s an opportunity to be competitive. If nothing else, we’ll approach it with the hard work we bring every week.”
Eager to Experience the Celtic Park Atmosphere
Valle acknowledges the challenge that lies ahead but remains optimistic about Celtic’s chances in Europe, adding “Every team in the Champions League is highly competitive, and every match will be tough. But I believe this group gives us a real chance to advance.”
The young defender is also excited to experience the famed atmosphere of Celtic Park. “I’ve heard a lot about the crowd and the incredible environment here. Celtic is a historic club that plays excellent football, and I’m looking forward to being part of it,” Valle added.
