The Celtic YouTube page has uploaded a short clip showing Stephen McManus outlining the importance of the redevelopment of Celtic’s Barrowfield training centre.
Former Celtic player, and now part of the coaching staff, McManus provides a clear insight into the growing need for redevelopment at Barrowfield, stating that in 2019 the ground was unchanged from the 1990’s.
While the Celtic first team trains at Lennoxtown, which is better equipped for the Bhoys to train in changing weather, McManus explains that the new indoor facilities will allow the Celtic B team and Academy to train in all conditions, and not be disrupted by bad weather.
In the clip, we also get a look at the current progress at Barrowfield as well as images of what the facility will eventually look like.
