Vaclav Hladky now available on a free. It won’t be long until he’s linked with Celtic…

Vaclav Hladky has left Ipswich Town, and I suspect it won’t be long until he’s in the frame to be Joe Hart’s successor.

The Czech keeper who had a spell in Scotland with St Mirren a few years back has been told is free to leave EPL new boys Ipswich Town after rejecting the offer of a new contract with the Premier League newsboys.

Hladky had a decent season helping the Tractor Boys win promotion to the money laden English top flight.

Despite this he’s not been interested in a new deal and you can bet your last dollar he will be linked with a move to Celtic soon enough, maybe it’s happened already!

I’ve not seen enough of Hladky to give my opinion, but he must be of a decent calibre to have played in side who won automatic promotion front the English Championship. Although it’s rather strange that he not been interested in  new contract and the chance to play in the Premier League.

The 33 years old former Czech youth international has played for several sides in his homeland as well as spells with St Mirren, Salford City and of course Ipswich.

It’s a certainty that Hladky will soon be mentioned as a Celtic target.
