theRangers’ Managerial Merry-Go-Round: Bookies Bet on Clement Walking Away as the Ibrox summer crisis deepens by the day…

The comedy of errors at theRangers continues! Bookmakers have now placed odds on their supposed saviour, Philippe Clement, doing what theRangers fans swear they never do—walking away.
With their pre-season already in chaos, a mass exodus of players underway and a stadium unfit for purpose, the odds are stacked against Clement sticking around. Betting website fairbettingsites believes that theRangers will be searching for a new manager sooner rather than later.
And the Hearts manager Steven Naismith has been pegged at 2/1 to swoop in if Clement bolts from a beleaguered Ibrox before the new season starts, or if he discovers via Sky Sports that he has resigned, a trick they once pulled on Mark Warburton.
The betting odds even suggest a highly unlikely return for former Gers coach Steven Gerrard, who would have to swap the mega-bucks in Saudi Arabia for the cash stopped realities of Ibrox. Gerrard might not be the brightest but he’s not that daft.
So apparently Steven Naismith is the hot favourite.
Here’s the full rundown of the odds for the next theRangers manager: Probably the rank outsider is the only one who’d take the job.
