Tavernier will be missed at theRangers, Daizen too will be ‘disappointed’

James Tavernier will be missed at theRangers, but he’ll also be missed at Celtic…

James Tavernier is looking increasingly likely to leave theRangers with Turkish side Trabzonspor believed to be close to signing him for an ‘undisclosed’ fee.

Serial loser and Ibrox hall of famer Captain Disappointed Tav will be a big miss to the Ibrox side despite his loser mentality.

Captain Disappointed

Tav contributed a massive amount of goals to the club, whether that was through the staggering 70 odd spot kicks he scored or the numerous assists he laid on, he will be a big miss and someone at Ibrox will have to start practicing penalties as they will be handed the opportunity on plenty of occasions next season.

Tav the Penalty King

But as much as theRangers will miss him, Celtic will miss him even more. It’s got to be remembered that Celtic football club had won only three trebles in our history when Tavernier signed up at Ibrox. Fast forward nine years later and we have a record eight! All overseen on the watch of The Blue Cafu.

It’s not just the trophies, but the thumpings that we’ve handed out with Tav leading the Ibrox side. 5-0 at Paradise, 5-1 at Celtic Park, 5-1 at Ibrox, 4-0 at Hampden, 4-0 at Celtic Park, the list goes on. Not to mention numerous cup final defeats.

Tav as well as being an important part of their side was also a weak link, something that we are all going to miss badly.  Poor old Daizen will be devastated at the transfer of his favourite opponent.
