Maybe one day they will learn to do their talking on the park

Maybe one day they will learn to do their talking on the park. Or then again hopefully not…

Yet another season is upon us and yet again a player from theRangers is running his mouth off regarding the outcome of next season’s title.

Cyriel Dessers should keep his mouth shut

Cyriel Dessers is that man (not for the first time), and fresh on from his brave boasts about how the theRangers were a better side than Celtic during last season’s title run in, he’s confidently preaching about his side’s outstanding chances of winning the league once again. Brendan Rodgers must be shaking in his boots/

Look, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of positivity, but this nonsense in nothing but sheer arrogance and stupidity by Dessers, who should learn to do his talking on the park, especially against Celtic.

Celtic of course more than proved their credentials by confirming themselves as the best side in the country once again with Dessers and his team mates failing to beat Celtic on a single occasion last campaign.

St Johnstone can match theRangers trophy haul of three in a decade

Even one of their new loan signings who was speaking at his unveiling just the other day spoke about how he was in Scotland to win ‘trophies’ with what they have been told is the top side in the country.

Really? They’ve won the same amount of honours as St Johnstone this past decade for goodness sake, while Celtic have won a mini-mountain worth of domestic trophies.

It seems that a cloud of delusion hangs over Ibrox regarding supporters, managers and players alike when it comes to making statements, and it’s all about trying to be better that Celtic.

Maybe they will one day learn to shut their mouths and do their talking on the park. Or then again hopefully not. If Dessers is the best that they’ve got them Brendan won’t be losing any sleep. This time around he won’t need to say it. See you in May…
