Brendan’s busy but no back-slapping until signings are all signed, sealed and delivered

Celtic’s summer transfer dealings are now in overdrive, but there should be no back-slapping until they are all signed, sealed and delivered…

After a few weeks of worry and concern amongst the Celtic supporters regarding the lack of transfer activity, yours truly included, it seems we have went into overdrive in our bid to bring in new faces.

Kasper Schmeichel looks certain to sign anytime soon with Finnish keeper Viljami Sinisalo also on his way.

A deal has finally been agreed for Paulo Bernardo, while hopes of a return for Adam Idah remain hopeful. Add to that rumours of a swoop for Michel – Ange Balikwisha, so all in all things are starting to look a bit more promising.

Of course there is still some work to be done until deals are over the line, while other areas of the squad need urgent tending too as well, but it’s a start, and the same doubts we had just last week over recruitment are lingering a little.

But this is Celtic and we know fine well how things can go sour very quickly regarding transfer incomings, so there can be no back patting until all our targets are signed, sealed and delivered.
