Three more sleeps before Celtic are back in action but it’s still all quiet on the transfer front as far as incoming signings are concerned…

The first of five matches in Celtic’s pre-season schedule takes place at Somerset Park in Ayr as Scott Brown’s Championship side play hosts to the Scottish Champions as Ayr United officially open their new North stand.

Tickets for Friday night’s match v @CelticFC will be emailed out to supporters tonight (1st July).

Please make sure to check your junk/spam folders as well as your inbox.

Over 6000 Celtic supporters will be inside the ground, out-numbering the home support by a few thousand and this match will provide Broony with additional funds for his transfer business as he attempts to win Ayr United promotion to the top level of Scottish football for the first time since 1978.

This will also be Celtic’s first visit to Somerset Park this century, the last time we played there was in a League Cup match under John Barnes back in 1999, and yes, we did win!

All Five Live on Celtic TV

Celtic TV will also be showing the match and this will be available to subscribers in both Britain and Ireland as well as those Celtic supporters around the world who rely on Celtic TV for many of the matches throughout the season. If you sign up to Celtic TV you will see all five of Celtic’s pre-season matches live on the club’s own channel.

The two Celtic matches in Scotland are as follows:

Ayr United v Celtic – Somerset Park. Friday 5th July – kick-off 7.45pm (Celtic tickets have old out).

    Queen’s Park v Celtic – The City Stadium. Wednesday 10 July – kick-off 7.45pm (no tickets available).

While the three Celtic matches in the USA are as follows:

DC United v Celtic – Audi Field. Sunday 21 July at 0.45am (Celtic Park Time)

Celtic v Manchester City – Chapel Hill. Wednesday 24 July at 0.00am (Celtic Park Time)

Celtic v Chelsea – Notre Dame Stadium. Saturday 27 July at 9pm (Celtic Park Time).
