Adam Idah to Celtic deal looks more promising this morning

If Adam Idah wants to move to Celtic, then it looks more promising. Over to you Celtic…

Adam Idah has reportedly told Norwich that he sees his future with Celtic.

As reported yesterday the club had a £4 million offer booted into touch, but things could now change if they up that offer especially with Adam’s insistence that he move permanently to Glasgow.

Yesterday it looked like Norwich of course held all the cards, but for a fee of around £6 million they would most likely cash due to the player making it clear he wants the move. Indeed overnight reports indicate that the Irish striker is likely to be given permission to travel to Glasgow for a medical and to negotiate his own personal terms.

Adam wants to move, Celtic want the player so it’s only a matter of time before a move materialises. Celtic however will need to play ball and up the ante regarding the transfer fee.

£6 million for a player of Adam’s quality is a bargain in the modern day transfer market. He’s proven himself in his short loan spell at the club. Actually he fully exceed expectations. He’s also a full international, so he’s not an unknown ‘project’ like so many.

There really is no excuse for not getting a deal done. Everything is in place for Adam’s arrival.

    Over to you Celtic.
