Following Scotland’s 2-0 victory over Gibraltar in an international friendly, James Forrest gave his thoughts on his reintroduction into the Scottish squad.

Celtic winger, James Forrest has had a terrific end to Celtic’s season campaign and playing a crucial role in aiding the Bhoys secure both the Scottish Cup and the League title. His good form and eye for goal didn’t go unnoticed by Scottish gaffer Steve Clarke who then selected him for this Summer’s European Championships.

Ahead of the start of Euro 2024, Scotland faced Gibraltar in an international friendly to help the Scots warm up for the European Championships. Due to his recent form, James Forrest earned a start in Steve Clarke’s starting line-up against Gibraltar. Speaking to Premier Sports following a 2-0 victory, Forrest said that it was ‘good to be back amongst the boys’.
