Video: Celtic TV show off all pre-season tour destinations

The official Celtic YouTube page has uploaded a short clip showing all of the stadiums the Bhoys are set to play at this Summer, as part of their pre-season.

Due to the European Championships currently taking place in Germany, Celtic have opted to take a slightly different approach to their usual camp abroad in Europe.

Instead, the Bhoys are set to have two friendly domestic fixtures against Ayr United, at their home ground of Somerset Park, and Queen’s Park at The City Stadium in Glasgow.

Then the Bhoys are heading to the United States to play D.C United at Audi Field in Washington D.C, Manchester City at the Kenan Stadium in North Carolina, and Chelsea at the Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana.

In this clip, Celtic shows off an ariel view of all of the stadiums the Bhoys are set to play at this Summer.

Celtic also announced that all of these pre-season fixtures are set to be shown on CelticTV although a subscription is required.

Celtic’s 6000 away support at Somerset Park

Around 6000 Celtic supporters will attend the pre-season friendly this coming Friday night against Ayr United at Somerset Park. That’s almost ten times the number of away fans that Celtic will have when we go to Tynecastle to take on Hearts this season.

Celtic has a huge demand for home tickets so for our games against Hearts we should limit them to 650 tickets so that as many Celtic supporters as possible can get to see the Bhoys play at Paradise.

It’s not unreasonable, it’s exactly the same thing that Hearts are doing to Celtic and indeed theRangers. And as we all saw last season their ‘extra demand’ evaporates quick enough as their fair weather fans don’t reckon they’ll have much chance against the Champions. So they end up with empty seats.
