The Celtic YouTube page has uploaded a clip showing the Celtic players back training at Lennoxtown after the Summer break.

After the busy end to the season, the Celtic players deserved a good few weeks away to rest and recuperate for the beginning of the title defence next season. With several pre-season friendly matches coming as soon as next week, the Bhoys (not including those on international duty) gathered at Lennoxtown yesterday to begin preparing for these games.

In the clip, we can see the Celtic players training under the supervision of the assistant manager, John Kennedy.

The players in this video are the ones that will make up the Celtic team that will travel down to Somerset Park to face Ayr United on Friday evening. It will be a competitive match, there’s no doubt about that given their manager in none other that former Celtic captain Scott Brown!
