In 43 appearances for Celtic, the Cameroon Internationalist assisted once before returning to parent club Nancy. Nguémo was an industrious player that provided some fine moments in an otherwise dismal season. The club, who parted with Mowbray in the March of that year, appointed Neil Lennon and the decision was taken to use the funds in a different manner.
Ngeumo, who was a French citizen, was an excellent player that would’ve likely kicked on beside Scott Brown had the pair continued. He did, however, enjoy a good career and it is an utter tragedy that his life has been cut short.
Rest in Peace, Landry.
