‘Super computer’ has chance to do funniest thing on Thursday

Scottish Football’s ‘Super Computer’ has a chance to do the funniest thing possible this Thursday…

Scottish football’s infamous ‘super computer’ will be doing its thing later this week as the Scottish Premiership fixtures are announced for next season.

We Celtic supporters are all awaiting the usual away trips in the first quarter to the likes of Tynecastle, Rugby Park, Easter Road, Pittodrie, and Fir Park. It’s a given. It’s amazing that a so called ‘random’ draw can produce the same outcome year after year. At least we know we’ll be at home to theRangers for the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

That’s enough about us, as the ‘super computer’ has the chance to do the funniest thing possible and make theRangers go to Dens Park to face Dundee in the opening fixture of the campaign. As Celtic will be at home, because we are Champions, they’re likely to start away.

It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that it could indeed happen as the ‘random draw’ is unlikely to send the Ibrox side to Tynecastle or Pittodrie on the seasons curtain raiser.

All the whining the Ibrox club did

With all the whining the Ibrox club did about the state of the Dens pitch last season, coupled with the revelation that Ibrox is in no fit state for the start of the season, the room for taking the Mickey is massive for the Dens Park club.

They’ve already subtly been taking aim at the Ibrox side on their social media account so you can only imagine the reaction from not just Dundee but the rest of Scotland if Dens Park is indeed the first fixture the Ibrox side need to negotiate next season. Please make it happen.
