Vata impressed with the Celtic B Team. However, he has made just four appearances for the First Team in his time with the club. Bologna and Coma are still hoping that they can convince the player to swap Glasgow for Italy; however, the update appears to be that Watford are in the prime position to sign the player.
Vata joined CAA Base Agency last summer, which indicated that he would be likely to move on in the summer but no deal was forthcoming leaving him to be deployed in the Lowland Leagues by Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea.
