Happy Birthday to Celtic captain Callum McGregor

Happy Birthday to Celtic skipper Callum McGregor, who turns 31 today. Despite suffering what could’ve been a season ending injury at the end of February, McGregor rallied and got himself fit and firing to help Celtic towards a League and Cup Double.

Now, Callum will spend his birthday competing with Germany in the National Team over in Munich. Steve Clarke utilises the Celtic captain as the heartbeat in the middle of the team which means he’ll come up against Toni Kroos, who will retire after this tournament.

McGregor has made 464 appearances for Celtic, scoring 64 times and assisting on 77 occasions. The midfielder’s trophy haul at Celtic is incredible, making him one of the most decorated Celts ever. It is something that he’ll be looking to add to in the coming season.
