Celtic supporters’ eyes all on Brendan’s recruitment plans

Scotland at Euro 2024 and the Rangers woes have been great distractions these past few weeks, but now we must fully focus on our own club. Celtic needs new faces in and we need them signed quickly…

Since our dramatic Scottish Cup win that clinched us a double on 25 May, we’ve had a chance to put our feet up and relax after an emotionally draining but ultimately successful campaign.

Scotland taking part in Euro 2024 and the hilarious woes of our rivals from Ibrox, have been a great distraction in the absence of anything or real significance happening at Celtic club football, in terms of the summer signings actually coming through the door.

Attention must turn to Celtic

But with Scotland now out of the euros and the endless amusement at the amateurish antics around Ibrox ongoing, we now have to fully focus on our own football club.

With the new season almost upon us, we need to start getting active in the transfer market. We are in desperate need of several new first team ready players, and our money men have got to deliver them.

We had to endure two pitiful transfer windows last campaign in which we failed to add any real quality to our squad. The supporters weren’t shy in venting their feelings and won’t be slow to speak their minds again if the club are similarly lackadaisical in our recruitment process yet again.

All eyes on Brendan’s recruitment

All eyes are now on the club, they must deliver on the recruitment front. Brendan must have the final say in any potential deals. We have the financial resources necessary, there can be no excuses. The club have been warned, the supporters are watching closely and we won’t tolerate any more negligence from those in charge.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
