Hours after Malmo confirmed Sead Hakšabanović as their new signing Celtic, posted that their own message confirming that the Montenegro international winger had joined the Swedish side.
“Sead Hakšabanović has left #CelticFC to join Malmo on a permanent transfer. Best of luck, Haksa!” was the transfer news update from the club.
Earlier Malmo announced their signing star summer signing from Celtic while Hakšabanović himself posted his own goodbye message to Celtic. Obviously he appears sad to be leaving the club but also accepts that a decision has been take by Brendan Rodgers that he’d not be part of his plans for his re-shaping of the Celtic squad.

“So my time at Celtic has come to an end, earlier than I thought and expected an wanted but smoother people had another opinion and I gotta respect that.
“I wanna thank the players, the staff and the fans because that is really what Celtic I about, we made some good memories together and I will always have love for Celtic, good luck and Celtic ate massive everywhere they go.
“All the best for the future,” Hakšabanović stated.
No information on transfer fee paid
The one piece of information that hasn’t been revealed so far is the transfer fee that Celtic have received for Sead from Malmo. Maybe more on that will emerge and we’ll keep an eye out and report back.
