Vote now for Celtic’s Goal of the Month award for May

The Celtic YouTube account has uploaded a short video showing all of the Celtic goals which have been nominated for goal of the month.

Celtic has provided six options for the goal of the month, and it must be said, it is a very competitive list. With goals ranging from Adam Idah’s last-minute Scottish Cup winner to Matt O’Riley’s rocket into the top corner against Kilmarnock, the standard this month has been incredibly high. You can vote here, but keep in mind that voting closes at 5 pm on Tuesday the 25th of June. Here is how Celtic described all of the nominated goals…

We’ve also added our own star ratings…

GOAL A – KYOGO V HEARTS (04/05/24) ***

Will it be Goal A, scored by Kyogo after a delightful pickout by Matt O’Riley. The Japanese forward slotted the ball past the Hearts goalkeeper to delight the Celtic support.

GOAL B – MATT O’RILEY V RANGERS (11/05/24) ***

Or goal B, Matt O’Riley smashes the ball past Jack Butland to open the scoring in an exciting Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park.

Is it Goal C, it’s our great Dane again with a thunderbolt in Ayrshire on the night Celtic clinched the title.

GOAL D – KYOGO V ST. MIRREN (18/05/24) ***

Goal D is another entry for our Japanese striker, Kyogo. This time the goal made in Japan, executed in Paradise, as Reo Hatate delivers a delightful ball on a plate for Kyogo who buries the ball past the St. Mirren goalkeeper.

Goal E comes from the Celtic FC Women’s team and it is a historic goal at that. Amy Gallacher’s late strike against Hibernian secured the first title for Elena Sadiku’s side.

GOAL F – ADAM IDAH V RANGERS (25/05/24) *****

Rounding things off is Adam Idah’s late strike in the Glasgow Derby Scottish Cup Final to secure the Double for Celtic!
