Video: Wayne Rooney names Celtic as the club he wishes he’d played for

Former Everton, Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney has named Celtic as the club we wishes he’d played for during his playing career. Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, Rooney answered a series of quick-fire questions and when asked which team he’d liked to have played for he had no hesitation in naming CELTIC.

Rooney is now the Plymouth Argyle manager and would have had an enjoyable weekend as Manchester United beat local rivals City in the FA Cup Final while North of the Border his favourites Celtic were getting the better of theRangers – yet again – through a sensational 90th minute winner from Adam Idah to win the Scottish Cup.
