There’s been a lot of sheer delusion coming out of a Ibrox lately, but it certainly isn’t a new thing. It’s a sure bet that whoever has the unfortunate task of being theRangers manager, that they will continually and consistently waffle a complete load of nonsense.
From Mark Warburton, to Pedro Caixinha, Steven Gerrard, to Michael Beale, and currently of course Phillipe Clement. Each and everyone of them has come out with statements that make you shake your head. Surely they ain’t that stupid, or maybe it’s all scripted for them, who knows?
That seems to have spread into the woman’s game as theRangers Women manager Jo Potter yesterday came out with a sheer delusional statement of her own, joining her male counterparts in setting herself up for ridicule.
Jo reckons that despite her side finishing as runners up in the SWPL table, they are the best side in the country.
No, Jo it’s Celtic that are the best side in the country. Yes we may have finished level on points, but our far superior goal differential made sure we were crowned champions, as the rules set out.
Whether it’s the men’s or the women’s side, it seems delusion knows no bounds.
