Alan Stubbs reckons that theRangers have wilted under the title pressure and that their manager Philippe Clement has been making some strange comments after starting to feel the heat in the business end of the season.

Rodgers relishes the title excitement
In contrast Brendan Rodgers has reminded everyone in the Scottish game that this is the time of the season when Celtic comes alive and there’s no doubt that the Celtic manager has an extra spring in his step as he relishes the excitement of the title run-in. As for the talking, Celtic keep that all in-house and instead prefer to do it on the park.
Rangers have wilted under the pressure

Speaking on talkSport, the former Everton and Celtic defender said: “I think Celtic have responded like champions,” he said. “I think (the)Rangers have wilted under the pressure a bit, I must admit. Celtic have been quietly letting a lot of people do the talking about them, where Brendan has been there and done it.
Celtic are in a really strong position
“I think Celtic are in a really strong position right now. Their manager has come out with a few strange comments which I didn’t get after the Old Firm (sic) game and the Dundee game after that. But I just feel like Celtic are in the prime position right now to do a Double – which people will probably look at as a mediocre season.”
Not to sure that many Celtic supporters would agree with that last remark if a double is won by Brendan Rodgers and his squad. However there is no doubt that there will be much to do by the manager in the summer in terms of a squad rebuild regardless of the silverware won or lost.

Clement lost the plot
Stubbs is however spot on in his assessment of Clement who seemed to have lost the plot for a few weeks there are points were spilled all over the place. Two points from nine in the three games that could have put the title out of Celtic’s reach without favours from elsewhere has seen Clement left crying into his Belgian beer. A sorry sight for his own supporters but one every Celtic supporter has enjoyed enormously.
