COME ON YOU GHIRLS IN GREEN
This week the headlines will ultimately be dominated by the Glasgow Derby this coming Saturday. Brendan Rodgers gears his side up for a game that could all but settle the destination of the title.
But today is just as big a game for our Celtic FC Women side as they take on theRangers at Broadwood in a game that could make or break their season.
Celtic must avoid defeatÂ
Elena Sadiku’s side are level on points with their rivals but remain top due to a much superior goal difference.  A victory would be huge with only three more fixtures remaining after today.
The Rangers recently came out on top just last week as they beat Celtic to reach the Scottish Cup final. Â But Elena and her side will be out to avenge that result and stop their rivals from closing in on a Treble.
A draw wouldn’t be the worst result due to Celtic’s massive goal differential, but a loss would be a major set-back and would leave Celtic looking at a trophy-less season. It would put Jo Potter’s side in the driving seat for the last remaining three fixtures.
On the other hand Celtic would be on the verge of winning the title against Hibs at Celtic Park and a huge Celtic crowd could be there to cheer them on. Maybe even the Green Brigade?
Ghirls will go all out for a win
We have got to go there today looking for the victory that would put us in pole position for our first ever league title. Elena’s side are looking to make history, let’s hope they win today and take a massive step in achieving that.
Today there will be a sizeable Celtic support this time, after theRangers banned Celtic supporters from Ibrox last time around – for a women’s match! They know no shame that mob, they even now want the Celtic Huddle stopped before kick-off.
