Yesterday felt important
Yesterday felt important. Hearts had beaten Celtic in the last two meetings are were looking for a third consecutive victory over Celtic, which they hadn’t achieved since 1961. They certainly started well and had the better of the opening exchanges but after five minutes or so Celtic clicked into top gear and really did put on a show.
Blatant handball by Shankland
It was 2-0 at the interval with two brilliant efforts from Kyogo and if anything Celtic played even better in the second half but only added one further goal, through Matt O’Riley after the most blatant handball by Shankland was missed by the referee Kevin Clancy, but spotted by VAR.
