Celtic are at Hampden Park this lunchtime looking to win a place in the Scottish Cup Final on 25th May against either Hearts or theRangers. Those two will fight out the other semi-final tomorrow but for Celtic it’s all about beating Aberdeen today.
Scales Returns
Brendan Rodgers has never lost a Scottish Cup match and also has a 100% record to protect at the national stadium. The Celtic manager is without Daizen Maeda but otherwise has a full squad to choose from.
We reckon Brendan will make two changes from the side that started last weekend in the 3-0 Scottish Premiership win over St Mirren, with Maik Nawrocki and Yang dropping to the bench to make way for fit-again pair Liam Scales and Luis Palma. Meanwhile the Celtic captain Callum McGregor will not be risked in the starting eleven but instead will come on for a half hour or so in the second half.
Predicted Team
Our predicted Celtic team this afternoon is Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; Tomoki, Hatate, O’Riley; Kuhn, Kyogo and Palma.
Subs for Celtic at Hampden will be Bain, Nawrocki, Welsh, Ralston, Bernardo, McGregor, Forrest, Idah and Yang.
