Possible Joe Hart replacment ‘high’ on Brendan’s transfer radar

Recent reports have hinted that a possible replacement for the current Celtic goalkeeper, Joe Hart, may be high on Brendan Rodgers’ transfer radar.

Joe Hart has had a largely successful stint at Celtic, with 140 appearances, 60 clean sheets, and 136 goals conceded. The 36-year-old announced that he would be departing from the Hoops at the end of this season, so Brendan has been in the market for a replacement goalkeeper. Several names have already been mentioned for the position, with Werder Bremen’s Michael Zetterer and Liverpool’s second choice, Caoimhin Kelleher to name a few.

  1. Personally believe that we will be in the market for 2 keepers imo?
Don’t think that we will be looking for Bain to make up the required 8 homegrown players for European football imo?
If that’s the case, then an upgrade upon Bain as a no2 keeper could well be in the offering?
Wouldn’t be a bad idea as hardly want to put ourselves in another barkas situation again imo?
Don’t think we have a younger keeper coming through yet, especially to challenge Bain at present?
Think next season, we should be looking at a situation where we have 2 decent options available in each position?
We still haven’t got to that, within the overall depth of the squad, even if a few positions are starting to develop into such a manner?
With the amount of injuries suffered this season, surely this has to be the aim for the squad next season imo?
