“I will continue to work hard to play more powerfully,” Kyogo

Celtic striker Kyogo has posted a message on social media this morning after scoring in yesterday’s 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Celtic Park.

Reo Hatate opened the scoring with a wonderful finish with the outside of his boot before his fellow Japanese teammate added a second with a powerful header from a wonderful cross from Alistair Johnston. The Canadian right-back had a fine match and in that second 45 minutes he put in probably his best performance in a Celtic jersey.

‘I won’t lose to myself’

Kyogo unusually for him didn’t find the back of the net last weekend against theRangers – maybe he’s keeping his goals against them for the game at Celtic Park?

This morning he posted: “I will continue to work hard to play more powerfully from now on! I won’t lose to myself,” Kyogo stated.

Five games to go and with Kyogo and Reo Hatate hitting top form, Celtic are in a good place.
