“Disappointed not to win”, Carter-Vickers reacts to Glasgow Derby draw

Celtic’s Cameron Carter-Vickers has said that he was disappointed to not win in this afternoon’s Glasgow Derby against Rangers. Brendan Rodgers’ side travelled to Ibrox knowing the implications of a defeat on their title ambitions and were 2-0 up at half time. However, Rangers came from behind to draw 3-3.

The USA Internationalist made some fine blocks but he will be frustrated that his defence conceded three goals in the second half (and one that was disallowed). The Scottish Champions would have been in a brilliant position in terms of the league had they held on for the three points but it was not meant to be.

CCV may be somewhat frustrated with the protection that his defence received but said that the team will get better as they look to see out the league campaign with maximum points in order to deliver the league title back to Celtic Park.
