Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to play St Mirren at Celtic Park this afternoon in the Scottish Premiership where a win will open a four points gap at the top of the table ahead of theRangers playing up at Dingwall tomorrow.
Nawrocki’s chance
Joe Hart has the gloves. In the absence of Liam Scales, Maik Nawrocki parters Cameron Carter-Vickers in the centre of the Celtic defence and this gives the Polish defender his chance to stake a place in the starting eleven.
Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor are the full-backs as usual and in the midfield, Celtic go with the same three that started at Ibrox with Tomoki Iwata playing behind Ro Hatate and Matt O’Riley. A front three Kuhn, Kyogo and Yang start as Daizen Maeda drops out with a hamstring injury that could end his season.
Captain on the bench
We expect changes on the hour mark with Adam Idah and Luis Palma to get half an hour alongside the captain Callum McGregor.
A strong Celtic bench just like last weekend with the likes of Scott Bain, Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Gustaf Lagerielke, Paulo Bernardo, James Forrest, Luis Palma, Callum McGregor and Adam Idah.
Kick-off is at 3pm. COYBIG!
