Women’s Scottish Cup semi-final draw – theRangers v Celtic FC Women

And it’s a Glasgow Derby! Celtic FC Women have drawn theRangers in the semi-finals of the Women’s Scottish Cup. We’ve beaten Ayr United, Hamilton Accies and Montrose to get to this stage, and we’ll be looking to go all the way in our defence of the trophy that we’ve won in both 2022 and 2023.

The tie will be played on either the 27th or 28th of April and it will take place at Hampden Park. A good crowd will be expected, and I’ll certainly be there to cheer on the Ghirls in green!

In the other semi-final, Spartans will take on Hearts. Last time the sides met, Hearts came out on top with a late Katie Lockwood goal securing victory for the Edinburgh side. The Jambos will be confident that they can advance to the final, but they surely won’t underestimate Spartans.

As we know, last time we faced theRangers, it ended in a 1-1 draw at Ibrox. We face our rivals again this Sunday and that could tell us a lot about what to expect when we do face them in April.

Full fixture details will be released in due course, with tickets available to purchase closer to the time. We’ll be sure to update you when they go on sale.
